Cassandra Lee

Hello, I’m Cassandra Lee.

I founded CLC after being inspired by Paul Jarvis’ Company of One: Why Staying Small is the Next Big Thing for Business. His philosophy deeply resonated with me. The idea that a business can thrive by staying focused, intentional, and true to its purpose. CLC is my way of redefining what legal practice means to me: a boutique, values-driven firm that prioritises depth over scale, and people over volume.

Before starting my own practice, I trained and practised as a civil litigation lawyer at one of Malaysia’s largest dispute resolution firms. During that time, I gained extensive experience across a broad spectrum of disputes, including bankruptcy and insolvency, contractual claims, corporate and commercial matters, as well as shareholder and partnership disputes. I have represented both corporate clients and private individuals at all levels of the Malaysian courts.

Over time, I began building a strong specialisation in estates and inheritance disputes. With CLC, I now have the opportunity to focus my practice on what I do best: Estates, Wills, and Inheritance Law.

CLC offers comprehensive services in estate planning with a particular focus on clients who have complex family structures or unique intentions. Over the years, CLC has also built a strong portfolio in inheritance litigation, allowing us to draw from both planning and dispute-resolution experience when advising clients.

Drawing from my litigation background, I help clients anticipate potential risks and design structures that reduce the likelihood of future disputes. Having seen first-hand the emotional and relational toll of litigation, especially in family and inheritance matters, my goal is to guide clients toward solutions that preserve relationships and protect their long-term interests.

At CLC, every matter is personal. I believe in delivering tailored advice, specialised solutions, and strategic clarity grounded in empathy and expertise. My aim is to serve clients who value thoughtful, high-quality counsel and share a commitment to doing things the right way.
