Litigation Secretary

Reports to: Principal / Managing Partner of the Firms within the Group Practice

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To provide secretarial and office administrative support in Firm’s and/or the Group Practice’s litigation practice and the day-to-day running of the Firm and/or the Group Practice.
  • To organise and manage correspondences, reports and travel arrangements.
  • To maintain good order of all file correspondences, records and administrative facilities, including but not limited to mails, fax distribution, filing / document keeping and etc.
  • To always ensure that there is a high-level of confidentiality in the affairs of the Firm and the Group Practice.
  • To perform any other work as and when required.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 to 3 years relevant working experience in a similar capacity.
  • Familiar with using the court's electronic filing system (EFS).
  • Decent command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Strong computer skills, with a solid proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe.
  • Meticulous and have an eye for detail.
  • Able to work independently under minimum supervision.
